Privacy policy and terms of use

Who we are

taxwork.pk is the website of TAXWORK Consultants, cost and management accountants with offices in Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Karachi. For any privacy question, email info@taxwork.pk or call 051 5153005.

What we collect

This website has no accounts and does not send form entries to our own server. When you use a form, request a quote, book a meeting or send a checklist, the site prepares a message and opens WhatsApp or your email app. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

We receive only what you choose to send us: usually your name, phone number, city, the service you need and any documents you share. When you become a client, we also hold the records needed to do your work, such as returns, bank statements and notices.

Stored on your device

To make the site easier to use, a few settings are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us:

• the situations you picked and the documents you ticked in the checklist
• your chosen colour theme
• whether you have already seen the meeting booking pop-up, so it isn't shown again

You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets analytics cookies; we don't use advertising cookies.

Other services the site uses

Fonts load from Google Fonts, map links open Google Maps, and messages go through WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider. These services may receive your device's IP address and handle data under their own privacy policies. Links to FBR, SECP, the FTA and other official websites are governed by those sites' own terms.

How we use your information

• to reply to your enquiry and give you a quote
• to prepare and file your returns, registrations and replies
• to send reminders before your deadlines, if you are our client
• to meet our own legal and professional obligations

We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed for the work you ask us to do: with FBR, SECP, provincial revenue authorities or other authorities you instruct us to deal with, and with a partner firm, such as for UAE work or a statutory audit, only with your agreement. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to follow up. Client records are kept for the period our professional and legal obligations require, then deleted or returned to you.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@taxwork.pk and we will respond.

Terms of use

• General information, not advice. Content, guides and calculators on this site explain the law in general terms. Your tax position depends on your own facts, so contact us before acting.
• Calculators give estimates. They use rates under the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and related laws as amended up to 30 June 2026 and FBR's published rate cards. Exemptions, credits and later changes in law may change the result.
• Engagement. We act for you only after we have agreed the scope of work and the fee with you.
• Official sources. Laws, rates and dates can change. Where this site differs from an official FBR, SECP or FTA source, the official source applies.
• Partner firms are separate firms responsible for their own services.
• Content. The text, design and tools on this site belong to TAXWORK Consultants and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
• Liability. We take care to keep the site accurate, but we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on its general content without professional advice.
• Changes. We may update this page; the effective date above shows the latest version.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
